Preds fans come out in droves to welcome their team home…
- Updated: May 8, 2011
Last Sunday afternoon, there were roughly 200 fans waiting for their Nashville Predators to return home from Vancouver. This Sunday afternoon, there were at least three times that.
An absolutely incredible turnout and we can’t thank you enough. These are the types of gestures that make the players want to win even more than they normally do and, quite frankly, are the types of gestures that make the players want to stick around when their contract is up.
If you came out last week but had to miss this week, you wouldn’t believe the crowd. It was unreal and a truly moving display of support for the Predators players, coaches and nay-sayers. Below is some footage shot by section303.com just before the players landed.

We were there when the Preds came back from St. Louis at the end of the 03-04 season (the first for them to make the playoffs). There were 30-40 fans there that night.
Today was truly fantastic. Go Preds and lets hope that we can meet them at home after a victory in Game 7.

Wow. I’ve been busy both times, but I wanted to be there. Imagine the crowd if the Predators had won the Cup…
