Can't imagine anyone, especially the cash-strapped Preds, forking over $6mil or $7mil per year when the first average hit in the preseason could end his career. Especially when I called in and said $5.5-$6 million a year is a good number considering Leggy and Erat make $4.5/year and barely get 55 points while Sully is a pt/game guy. They never raised an eyebrow to my whole argument on that so I have to think they meant per season. That being said, I will edit the article if I hear back from Darren that I misunderstood.
